Vous Visitez : Mount Kilimanjaro Uhuru Peak Via Umbwe Route.
La voie la plus directe et la plus spectaculaire pour atteindre le Pic Uhuru est la route Umbwe. This path became well-known after appearing in the IMAX sensation "Kilimanjaro - To the Roof of Africa." Trekkers travel through five different climate zones along the Umbwe route, which includes lush rainforests and icy glaciers at the summit. The route skirts a ridge covered in forests, climbs to the moorlands, and then passes under the southern icefields before joining the Machame Route, which takes you to the summit. This trail is best suited for expérienced hikers who are accustomed to mountainous terrain because of its steep, difficult, and occasionally exposed terrain.
The Umbwe route is less popular because of its steep inclines; trekking poles are advised for negotiating the rainforest's slick slopes. A cook will prepare meals for the journey while porters will carry all necessary supplies and equipment. Trekkers on the Umbwe route sleep in tents, which are provided, and porters will set up tents at each campsite, in contrast to the Marangu Route, which offers lodging in huts. Meals are served on a blanket outside or inside a dining tent. It is possible for travelers to add an extra day to their itinerary for leisure or exploration; the Barranco Camp is a great place to spend this extra day.

Assurance voyage
Arrival in Kilimanjaro/Arusha.
Reach the l'Aéroport d'Arusha ou l'Aéroport International du Kilimandjaro. A friendly Ndutu Green Explorers representative will meet you at the airport, and drive you to a hotel in Moshi ou Arusha for the night, where you'll have dîner et breakfast the next morning.
Jour 1: Umbwe Gate to Cave Bivouac Camp.
Leave Moshi/Arusha for Umbwe Gate at 8 a.m. When you arrive, our staff will register your ascent while porters and guides finish up. Hike through the cloud forest of Kilimanjaro, where heathers, tall grasses, and wildflowers replace the moss-covered trees. As soon as you arrive at Cave Bivouac Camp, the camp will be prepared.
Jour 2: Cave Bivouac to Barranco Camp.
Follow ridge trails that take you from open moorlands to forests. Because of its valley location, Barranco Camp offers stunning scenery and a delayed lever du soleil among giant senecios and lobelias.
Jour 3: Barranco Camp to Karanga Valley.
Après le petit-déjeuner, leave Barranco Camp and ascend the Barranco Wall, a difficult ascent that calls for some hand assistance. After traveling through a comparatively level area, descend into Karanga Valley's lush vegetation.
Jour 4: Karanga Valley to Barafu Camp.
Hike past Kibo's glaciers and the intersection of the Mweka and Machame trails to reach Barafu Camp. Though the alpine désert is sparse, Barafu provides amazing views of the Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.
Jour 5: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp.
Commence the steep trails leading up to Uhuru Peak, where the last ascent begins at midnight. There's a strenuous climb to Stella Point and then a more leisurely ascent to Uhuru Peak. Take pictures and then descend to Mweka Camp while taking in the expansive views.
Jour 6: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate.
Walk through the forest to Mweka Gate to finish the journey. The trail could be slippery, particularly after it has rained. We'll have our cars ready to take you back to Moshi.
