You Visit: Mount Kilimanjaro Uhuru Peak Via Marangu Route.
The Marangu Route is also known as the "Coca-Cola" or "tourist" route because it is the quickest and easiest way to reach Kilimanjaro's summit. Every camp along this route features cozy beds and sleeping huts powered by solar energy. The trail begins at the park headquarters in Marangu village and winds through a variety of landscape features, including heath, moorland, and lush rainforest. It then leads to the alpine desert and, at the peak, the arctic zone before dropping back down the same path!
