Day By Day.
Day 1: Fly from Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park for a Game Drive
Our driver-guide will pick you up from Arusha Airport (ARK) at 9:30 am with a hot lunch and route to Tarangire National Park tour. One of the lesser-visited national parks of the atmosphere, expect to see majestic herds of elephants roaming amidst the iconic baobab trees. Home to the highest concentration of wild elephants in the world, the Tarangire offers unbeatable elephant sightings. Sometimes herds of up to 300 elephants can be seen around the Tarangire River, drinking from the shallows or enjoying a cooling mud bath. Apart from elephants, Tarangire is a paradise for bird lovers. In the area around these swamps, you can also see lions, leopards, cheetahs, and even tree-climbing pythons. After a full day game drive, in the evening, you'll drive to your comfortable lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, and relaxation.
